At Madison Accessories, we believe beautiful fashion should never come at the expense of human dignity or animal welfare. As an independent Australian brand, we take full responsibility for how our products are made. From our design studio in the Barossa Valley South Australia to our production partner in Southern China, we ensure every handbag is crafted with care, respect, and transparency. 

1. Cruelty-Free & Vegan Australia Certified
We are proud to share that Madison Accessories is officially Vegan Australia Certified.
For our customers, this offers complete peace of mind that our handbags are entirely cruelty-free. To achieve this official certification via Vegan Australia, our entire collection meets strict criteria: 
  • Zero Animal Ingredients: Our handbags, linings, and trims are 100% free from animal-derived materials, including genuine leather, suede, feathers, silk, or wool.
  • Ethical Production: No animal products or by-products are utilized at any stage of our manufacturing process.
  • No Animal Testing: Neither our finished products nor their raw material components are ever tested on animals. 
2. Fair Labour & Modern Slavery Prevention
While we operate below the mandatory legislative revenue threshold, we voluntarily comply with the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018. We proactively protect the rights of the artisans and makers who bring our designs to life:
  • Active On-Ground Oversight: We partner with an independent Quality Control and merchandise management team who regularly audit and visit our Southern China factory in person.
  • Strict Labour Standards: We mandate fair legal wages, safe and hygienic factory conditions, reasonable working hours, and a zero-tolerance policy for forced or underage labor.
  • Responsible Sourcing: We deliberately structure our production timelines to ensure our manufacturing partner is never placed under unfair delivery pressures.
